Reasech Activities Funded By the Deanship of Scientific Research in the KAU:

(1) Co-investigator in an approved project funded by the Scientific Research Deanship in the King Abdulaziz University (Project NO. 016 / 425). Title of the project is:

“ESTABLISHMENT AND USE OF A RAPID MOLECULAR AND FLOW-CYTOMETRIC DETECTION METHODS FOR MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS”

(2) Principal investigator in an approved project funded by the Scientific Research Deanship in the King Abdulaziz University (Project NO. 017 / 423). Title of the project is:

"A STUDY ON THE ISOLATION OF METHICILLIN-RESISTANT STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS (MRSA) FROM PATIENTS AND STAFF IN THE INTENSIVE CARE AND HEMODIALYSIS UNITS AT THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN JEDDAH"

(3) Co-investigator in an approved project funded by the Scientific Research Deanship in the King Abdulaziz University (Project NO. 305 / 422). Title of the project is:

"A STUDY IN THE EFFICACY OF USE OF NATURAL HERPES AND SPICES AS ALTERNATIVE TO ANTIBIOTICS ON QUALITY AND MICROBIOLOGYOF POULTRY EGG AND MEAT"

My work in this project is focused in the isolation and detection of different antibiotic-resistant bacterial species

(4) Co-investigator in an approved project funded by the Scientific Research Deanship in the King Abdulaziz University (Project NO. 003-13). Title of the project is:

"The effect of folic acid supplementation and fenofibrate-simvastatin combination on plasma folic acid, homocysteine , and lipid profile in hyperlipidemic patients with recent coronary event"
